The District Diversity Council Gives Back to the Community

The District Diversity Council and the Office of the Assistant Superintendent conducted their 2nd annual food drive for the Salvation Army in Perth Amboy. The council collected canned foods and other nonperishable items to help replenish the food pantry at the Salvation Army.

In addition, students at the Adult Education Center donated clothes to hang on the district's "Giving Tree." All items were donated to the students who were displaced due to the fire at Harbor Town.

Perth Amboy High School Students Donate Toys to Children at Raritan Bay Medical Center

Staff of the Paw Prints, the student run newspaper of Perth Amboy High School, dropped off toys at Raritan Bay Medical Center for children who will be hospitalized during the Holiday Season. Students from the Video/T.V. Production class also participated in the effort to bring joy to children who cannot be home during the holidays. The Paw Prints Toy Drive began with a small idea from one student and turned into a large project to give back to the community. Congratulations to all who participated!
